Time: 1 PM – 2 PM Eastern Time
Cost: FREE
Host: Depiction, Inc.
Presenter: Capt. Kim Buike, Ret. & David Friedman, KE7GOY

David Friedman, KE7GOY, an Amateur Radio Operator and emergency response volunteer, and retired Navy Captain Kim Buike of Depiction, Inc., will demonstrate how Friedman used Depiction to coordinate rescue operations during 2008 winter floods in the Seattle area, as described in the November 2009 edition of QST magazine. They will also show how Amateur Radio Operators can use the latest version of the software to do the same.
- Geo-locate all physical assets and volunteers in “depictions” to track deployment locations,
- Integrate maps, elevation plots, weather data, “fly over” imagery, situation reports and any critical proprietary data into a single depiction that can be saved and re-used off line,
- Use Depiction’s live reporting features to enhance the communication of volunteer movements, resource status, damage assessments during a disaster.
- And much more…
